The property was originally a fairly modest and rather dilapidated mews house on ground and first floors with an overhanging freehold to the rear. Tenders were let in two packages. The first package comprised construction of substructure works to form a basement. The second package involved substantially demolishing the superstructure and effectively constructing a new front elevation, ground and first floors, a new roof and complete fitting out on three floors.

Room Below were the successful tenderers in regard to the first and second packages. The end result is a spectacular highly desirable modern mews house comprising two bedrooms at first floor, each with en-suite facilities, an open plan ground floor with living, kitchen and dining areas. Kitchen furniture is by Poggenpohl with Miele appliances. In the basement there is a third bedroom with en-suite shower, a media room, study, utility room and basement patio served by an internal lightwell with electrically operated glass sliding roof. All floors are served by a spectacular steel staircase with stone tread inlays.
